The Sale Grammar School Parent Teacher Association (SGS PTA) would like to extend a warm welcome to all families who are new to the School. We hope you and your children will have many happy experiences here, and we wish the students all the best for their future education. Likewise, we wish the siblings of current and former SGS students every success and happiness as they join the School.

We are fortunate at SGS to have a PTA that is an integral part of the School community. The committee is made up of parents and teachers who meet regularly throughout the year to discuss fundraising initiatives and organise events, and is supported by a number of parents who volunteer to help at these events.

As well as fundraising, the PTA provides a means for parents to get to know each other and helps forge closer links between home and School. Our meetings are very informal and open to all, and we look forward to welcoming new parents in the autumn. If you would like to support the PTA, but don’t wish to join the committee or attend meetings, perhaps you would consider helping out at one or more of the events we run. We can never have too many volunteers! If you are interested in joining us or volunteering at future events, or simply would like to know a bit.
