What is Counselling?
Counselling allows people to discuss their problems and any difficult feelings they encounter in a safe, confidential environment and can help when people want to change something in their lives or simply explore their thoughts and feelings in more depth.

Who can access the service?
Any student attending Sale Grammar School. It is a FREE service available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
How can I access the service?
To access the service, you can ask your Head of Progress and Learning to make a referral for you, or complete a Self Referral form that you can obtain from the Counsellor or your Head of Progress and Learning.
Who will I see?
The Senior Counsellor is John Edgar. He works with a team of qualified counsellors and counsellors in training. They are not school employees and their work with you is confidential.
